Rowe Advisory review of 2019

2019 has been a successful, vibrant and varied year for the Rowe Advisory team. We have continued to grow in a manageable and sustainable way by maintaining and expanding our client base, and by bringing on board new and highly experienced consultants to complement our team.

This year we exhibited at the APPEA Conference & Exhibition for the first time. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase our ethos, values, experience and talent. It was a very successful and productive three days catching up with old friends and valued clients, making new ones and sharing the breadth and depth of our expertise.

Rowe Advisory continued to support Sight for All, a not-for-profit organisation that raises vital funds to deliver eye health care projects free of charge to Australian communities and low income countries. Our CEO, Jody Rowe, also joined the Hog Heaven Foundation’s trip to the World Youth International School and the Sapana Dreaming Centre for Humanityin Nepal, supporting and providing education to orphaned and underprivileged children.

As procurement specialists, we sponsored the CIPS Australasia WA Committee event ‘Career journeys, career stories’ and the Queensland Committee event ‘CIPSmas in July – Life in and out of Procurement’. Jody presented at the events, sharing her personal experiences, career path, journey to being CEO of Rowe Advisory and also gave insight into what she looks for in procurement recruitment.

During the year Jody has continued with her Board roles including Strike Energy, an ASX listed company, and also her Advisory Board roles where she has had the opportunity to share her experience and passion for business. This is an area which she would like to develop further in 2020.

We are proud to have continued to champion diversity in the workplace and as a gig economy consultancy provided independence and flexibility to our consultants whilst offering our clients a range of top talent, and access to a bigger and better pool of expertise, allowing them to flex their employee base to meet market demand.

We would like to thank our awesome clients, our dedicated consultants all over Australia and in the United Kingdom, and our service providers. Here’s to a successful 2020!
