Last month Canada’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal was given the final go-ahead by project partners, signalling confidence that global demand for LNG will rise quickly enough to absorb growing supplies as prices strengthen. Construction on the LNG facility in Kitimat, British Columbia is expected to start this year, with the export terminal in service by 2024.
Rowe Advisory’s consultants have in-depth experience in delivering functions such as contracts and procurement, and project services in the LNG arena. Our experience in Australian LNG megaprojects including the world’s first CSG to LNG market project means we understand what to do and more importantly what not to do! The lessons learnt from our time working on these LNG megaprojects are invaluable and something we can bring to the Canadian LNG table.
