SACOME & South Australian Minerals and Energy Services Future Forum

The South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy (SACOME) South Australian Minerals and Energy Services Future Forum focuses on inspiring and empowering the resources services sector for growth in South Australia and beyond.

Jody Rowe is honoured to be a guest speaking at the one day forum on February 28th. She will be discussing the opportunities and future challenges of the resource industry and where she sees its growth forming in the coming years.

During the forum, Jody will also be hearing from key leaders in the resources industry. They will also be sharing their experiences and insights on the future of the industry.

The day will cover four themes:
  • Collaborate to compete
  • The digital mine (or site)
  • Growth (export focus)
  • Cost of compliance (Procurement focus)
The cost of compliance

With years of experience in the resource sector, Jody has been invited to share her industry knowledge of the cost of compliance and the challenges firms expect to face in the year ahead. Through recent changes in government requirements, there is a necessity for businesses to strategically analyse their procurement costs which will help accelerate business performance. Being able to foresee, mitigate and act on risk with tenacity is integral part of a business’s success. Businesses need to manage enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, financial risk, customer and third party risk, and corporate governance.
